Logistics Job Shop Limited (“we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected.  Under the Data Protection Act 1998 we must comply with certain regulations which are designed to ensure that any data you provide to us is processed with due care and attention.  This privacy policy explains how we use the information we collect about you, how you can instruct us if you prefer to limit the use of that information and the procedures that we have in place to safeguard your privacy.

If you do not agree to our processing of your data as set out below, please do not submit any personal data to us.  By submitting your data you consent to the use of that data as set out in this policy.  If we change our privacy policy we will post the changes on this page, and may place notices on other pages of the website.  If we make any substantial changes we may provide you with email notification.  Continued use of the service will signify that you agree to any such changes.


The information we collect and how we use it

  • to disclose to third parties, on a confidential basis, where we have retained them to provide services that you or our client have requested, such as references, qualifications and criminal reference checking services, or verification of the details you have provided from a third party source;

How we protect your information

How long will your information be held for?


We will hold your information for as long as is necessary to comply with our contractual and statutory obligations and in accordance with our lawful interests as a data controller.


Can you find out what information we hold?  Can you amend such information or require it to be deleted?  Can you unsubscribe to our services?


You may at any time request us to confirm data we hold about you and may request us to amend, delete or update such data.  We may ask you to verify your identity and for more information about your request.  If we are legally permitted to do so we may refuse your request but in such circumstances we will give you reasons for doing so.

2012 Logistics Industry Recruitment Survey Prize Draw – Terms and conditions


1. This competition ends at midnight on 15 February 2012 (‘the deadline’).

2. The Promoter is Logistics Job Shop Limited (company number 07371933) whose registered address is Redland House, 157 Redland Road, Redland, Bristol BS6 6YE.

3. Entrants must be UK residents over 18 who work in the Logistics Industry or a related area, not employees (or members of their families) of Logistics Job Shop, or anyone connected with the prize draw.

4. To enter the prize draw a person needs to complete the survey entitled ‘2012 Logistics Industry Recruitment Survey’ that is accessible at www.surveymonkey.com/s/KCHH6RF and in so doing submit their name, company name and e-mail address to Logistics Job Shop.

5. Any personal details submitted to Logistics Job Shop Limited will be processed in accordance with Logistics Job Shop Limited’s Privacy Policy which is accessible at www.logisticsjobshop.co.uk/privacy.

6. Only one entry per person is allowed. The Promoter has the right to remove any entries that appear to be duplicates or multiple entries from the same participant. Subsequent entries will therefore be disregarded

7. Entries received after the deadline will not be included in the prize draw. Incomplete entries and entries from third party agents or bulk entries will not be eligible for the prize draw. The Promoter will not be responsible for any entries that are not received by it for any reason, by the closing date, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.

8. The winner will be selected at random by Logistics Job Shop Limited following the deadline and notified by e-mail by midnight 28 February 2012 (notification date)

9. Logistics Job Shop Limited’s decision will be final. No correspondence will be entered into.

10. The winner of the draw will receive a £50 Marks and Spencer voucher. Total prize worth £50.

11. The prize may change at any time.

12. The prize is subject to availability.

13. Prize is non-transferable. No cash alternative will be offered.

14. The names of the winner will be made available within 28 days of the notification date to anyone sending their e-mail address to the promoter at admin@logisticsjobshop.co.uk in a message with the subject heading ‘Survey Prize Draw Winner 2012’.

15. Logistics Job Shop Limited reserves the right to terminate or modify the contest or these terms in its sole discretion.
