Gregory Distribution expands into Wales

Freight group, Gregory Distribution has acquired west Wales refrigerated transport business Dylan Thomas International.

The Fishguard based business specialises in chilled foodstuffs including delivering potato products for Puffin Produce and poultry on behalf of Capestone Organic Poultry to the major supermarket retailers.

The acquisition comes as Dylan Thomas has been handling some of Gregory's chilled distribution routes for its Old Sodbury operation for some time.

All seven Dylan Thomas employees have transferred to Gregory and Dylan himself will remain as Transport Manager.

The deal increases GDL’s network nationwide with business units in the South West of England, Scotland and now Wales.
